Too old for this

I told Misti before I signed up, "I'm too old for this." There was an all-night cropping party at the scrapbook store in Granbury Friday night, and she convinced me to go. I signed up with all intentions of leaving around 1 a.m. or so. Well, I got carried away and stayed until 5 a.m. That's out of control in my book. It started at 6 p.m. although I didn't get there till about 6:40. We had lots of fun. They have a ton of equipment that you can use for free, then of course there is the entire store that you can buy stuff from if you need paper or little what-nots to put on your pages. Never that long again though, I'm exhausted.

The kids stayed with Papa and Gram. We drove them over there yesterday afternoon, and they spent the night. This was the first time for Landry to spend the night over there. They both had a great time and got tired enough to take a great nap this afternoon. My plan is to try to stay awake until about 8, then just go to bed early tonight. I hope it works, but right now I am dragging!

I had an interview at the nursing home in Granbury yesterday. Here's how my Friday went:
6:00 Wake up time, started laundry
7:00 Braden woke up
8:00 Landry woke up
8:45 Off to Dr. Watts office for kids' appts.
10:00 Errands- pick up paycheck, go to bank, wash the car
10:45 Took Braden and Landry to show them their new "school" (they start Monday)
11:00 Drive-thru the golden arches for 2 Happy Meals
11:30 My doctor's appt. for my back pain
12:30 Took kids out to Nana and Pa-paw's for a supervised nap
1:15 Off to my interview
2:40 Back to get the kids and take them home
3:00 Packed kids' bags for the overnight stay and put my scrapbooking stuff in a box
3:50 Left (with Jason now) to pick up Debbie's kids from their babysitter in Stephenville since she was stuck at an appt. in Ft. Worth with Brianna
4:40 Arrived at Papa's house with the kids. We got to see Debbie's house plans when they got there to get their kids.
5:40 Left Papa's to get to the crop, but first had to stop for food and fuel, then drop Jason off at Misti's parents house where Jeremy was dropping off his kids. They got a guys night and we got a girls night- the grandparents got the babies!
6:40 Arrived at Cropping Queens and got busy with Landry's scrapbook. I finished 2004!!

It was a very busy day!! I would have been tired had it not been for the all-nighter, but that just made it worse. Hence the projected 8:00 bedtime tonight!! Gotta be ready to go for another church service in the theater tomorrow morning!

But that sounds like SO much fun! I bet there is something like that around here, I'm just not plugged in with it. I still have Kellen's actual baby book to finish up (although I can say that I have some pictures laying in the pages where they should go...) and then almost all of the text for each of the months. Yikes! How is the digital scrapbook program? I remember you saying something about that one of the times that we had come to visit...
