I've missed my regular blog schedule. Maybe I'm catching some OCD tendencies from Jason and Misti. I usually do my blog first thing in the morning every day, but I've obviously missed that some this weekend... but I've had a lot on my mind.
I'm preparing to give my two weeks' notice today at SMART. This is the place I have worked since I got out of PT school- minus a few months last year. I really like it there, but things are changing. If I had adult neuro patients full-time, I would probably keep traveling up there. But I have not done a neuro eval in several months. Ortho is not my favorite, and that is what I've been getting a lot of lately. And then there's gas prices, lack of vacation and benefits, etc. So I'm going to take the job at Granbury Villa!
The kids start at Crosstown this morning. We've been building it up all weekend, trying to prepare for a smooth drop-off. After I start work in Granbury, the kids' schedule will be much better. They will get to sleep in later- since I won't have to leave at the crack of dawn- and they won't have to spend such a long day at the daycare.
Pray for us in all our transitions. I had a dream last night that Jason started teaching in Tolar- Yikes!- I guess my subconscious has all these changes going, so it thought about one more! We'll try to keep at least one person in the family in the same place for now!
