It is sadly quiet in the house. Braden and Landry ended up staying the night with Mimi last night because Jason has to do some computer training at the school all day Monday, so she is babysitting today. They missed church last night, and it was weird to not be listening for and checking on them every few minutes! Two of the guys that play music asked where Braden was when I walked in, and when I told them he was with his Mimi- they both said, "Oh, man, I can't believe he isn't here. We were wanting to hear some more duck calls." If Jason had heard that he would have swollen with pride, but since he wasn't in the room I just swelled up for him!
I got to talk to my friend Sara (in Germany) yesterday. We've been playing phone tag and e-mail tag for too long. Braden and Grace talked to each other too. They are busy preparing for a big move back to the states. She was explaining the process of how the Army comes in to pack you up and ship your stuff away! All I know is that it will be great to have them a little closer to home!
Hopefully this Monday will fly by. I already miss the kids, and they haven't even been gone that long. This is their last week of being spoiled with their daddy at home. Then back to the babysitter. Pray for a smooth transition. I foresee some protesting by a little princess!
