Happy 8th to us!

The kids survived their first day with the babysitters! As you can see by the picture, they are a little sleepy-headed this morning! We got a late start with Landry. She had a terrible earache, so I took her to the doctor at 9:30, then took her to Paula's. She has yet another ear infection. Those wonderful tubes fell out after only 2 1/2 months.

Today is our 8th wedding anniversary. Jason and I will probably go eat dinner this weekend sometime. Nothing major on the books tonight since it's a weeknight! I would definitely say our 8th year has been the best yet, and I'm guessing the 9th will be even better! We got married when we were still in college- it was so easy then! We spent tons of time together, we were SO broke. A big date would be for us to go to Cici's Pizza. We could eat 2 buffets, Dr. Pepper, and a water for $7.55. (I'd drink his Dr. Pepper) We'd get our scholarship/student loan checks at the beginning of the semester and have to make it last until the beginning of the next semester! The truth is, we had many fun times in the beginning, but life really started after Braden was born. Kids will change your life! Jason and I have grown so much closer even over the past 6 months. I thank God for putting him in my life. He is the best husband, father, and friend I could have asked for. I love you , Jas!

We re-adopted normal bedtimes last night, and I sure feel rested up. Off to tackle another day.
