Our computer is fixed-- only $100 later! It had two viruses on it. Must have been bad because it took the guy about 5 hours to get it all tuned up!
I took the kids and their bikes to the park yesterday morning. I also called Nana to see if she wanted to come up there and watch them play. Her day was made when Landry saw her getting out of the car and yelled "Nana" and just started running to her. Landry's run is just so cute anyways. It's like a speed-walk with a couple of bounces here and there to make it look like a run. Nana also brought our niece Kayli. After the kids played to the point of red-faces, we took them to Burger King (Braden got his way after all) for a happy meal (eaten inside this time) and quick playtime on their equipment. They have the little 25 cent vending machines with cheap toys, and each of them got a cheap plastic toy that is probably already lost, broken, or thrown away!
The kids took great naps while I mopped and cleaned the big, bad bathtub! I guess I was feeling domesticated yesterday because I cooked supper, too-- pork chops, squash, and cornbread. That is a rare occasion at our house. Jason is pretty much the chief cook and I am on clean-up crew. Every once in a while, though, I'll cook a little something.
We spent a long evening at the Spraggins compound. Jason and I were trying to help Kinsey and Michael finish up some stuff for the church service on Sunday. Braden and Landry always like going over there. They have a lot of outside space to run around, and when they go inside they get spoiled!! Sounds like a win-win situation. Have I ever mentioned how great it is to have family close by!!
