Sunscreen issues

We made a quick midday trip over to Stephenville yesterday for a swim and a burger. My laid-back-ness bit me in the behind once again. Braden was getting ready to get in the pool, but I told him he had to have sunscreen first. He said Becca (12) and Brianna (7) already put it on him. So, I asked them, and they said just on his face. So, I lathered up his shoulders, neck, ears, and back. After we made it back home and headed out for church, Jason says, "What happened to Braden's face?" Well, it looked as if the girls maybe had residual suncreen left on their fingers and just kind of brushed Braden's face with it in random places!! It kind of looks like a splattered grease burn, just not that severe of course.

We had a full day, which I guess is typical for Sundays. Slept in, 2-hour trip to Wal-Mart, mad dash for the pool, rushed home for haircuts and showers, off to church. What happened to the day of rest?

Good kid story... We were getting ready to leave the White's house last night, late of course. Braden asked Jason for another brownie. Before Jason could finish his sentence about him already having had too many, I stopped him. Carson (3) was behind Braden, and he had broken his brownie in half and was giving one half to Braden. Now, that is sweet!!!
