We had so much fun last night making a pizza together. Jason had it in his mind that he wanted us to do it "as a family." So, I even got out the video camera. Kind of cheesy, huh! Braden did so well. He'll tell you that he brushed the crust with oil, put on the sauce, then cheese, then ham. His favorite part was the sauce! Landry was in the studio audience asking for samples of ham and cheese. She says "pease" and "anks" (please and thanks) when you give her a bite!
Yesterday was a busy day at work and at home. After the kids went to bed, I was working on a prayer blog for StoneWater Church. We had to clean our golf clubs for our big outing today. It will be me, Jason, and the White boys. I was also trying to find some pictures from the high school era. I am being inducted into the SHS Athletic Hall of Fame this fall (more on that another day), and they need a 5x7 action photo from high school. It was fun going through my old scrapbooks to find something. I didn't find a great picture, so I combined a golf and a basketball picture into the 5x7.
I felt so much joy today watching my son make pizza with his daddy, listening to my daughter try to sing "Jesus Loves Me" along with me as I put her to bed, and being loved by a man who has made a promise and a vow to honor and cherish me as long as we both shall live! I know, pretty sappy, but I feel incredibly blessed!
