We played golf yesterday with two friends. Last time I played, Braden was about 6 months old and we had a 9 hole scramble at the Aggie Golf Reunion. Prior to that it had been about 2 years. All said and done, it's been about 5 years since I've really played. I guess it's kind of like riding a bike. I played good for the most part, and we had a blast!
The downer side is that I really didn't get to see the kids yesterday. They stayed out at Nana and Pa-paw's while we had our outing. I just saw them briefly before putting them to bed. I'm needing some time with them. I can't imagine how parents that work late or work long hours deal with not seeing their kids much. I'm sure appreciative of our schedules. If we have to work, which we do, our schedules are good for family time.
I'm feeling old and out of shape this morning. I've been threatening for several months to start an exercise program, but I might just go ahead and do it now. My back is so stiff from golfing, and my wrist feels like it has a spear in it. I have this annoying cyst on my wrist that comes and goes, but lately it's been coming more than going. It hurts like the dickens when I bend my wrist up or grip anything. Boo-hoo!!
I wish I had a great kid story. The main comment we got from Nana's house was that we needed to re-stock the groceries because of Landry's bottomless pit for a stomach. She said they were good kids, but Nana would never tell us otherwise. I'm not sure if that would be voluntary not-telling, or denial that her grandbabies ever did any harm!!

Matt & I have been threatening to do that very same thing...start an exercise program. He's even gone so far as to call Gold's in CS about a membership. Maybe...
I enjoy reading about you guys...it's a nice way to try and keep in touch and stay connected.
