Duked out

Thank you so much, Jeremy, for letting Jason borrow your Dukes of Hazzard DVD set. Now we've got a little 3 year old singing "Just the good ole boys" and talking about the General Lee. I've seen enough of Bo and Duke for a lifetime.

I heard from my good friend Sara. They are going to be transferring to Fort Riley (KS) in October. They have been in Bamberg, Germany for a little over two years. I'm glad we went to see them when we did, else we wouldn't have made it over there at all. We went in April of 2003 for about a week. I am selfishly excited that they will be much closer to Texas!

One of my patients pulled a fast one on me yesterday. He is 7 years old and just adorable. His dad brought him to the appointment this time, and I'd only seen his mother in the past. When his session was over, I took him out to talk to dad. As soon as I opened the door, his whole demeanor changed. He was moping, pouting... in a sweet little voice he said, "daddy, I'm sad." Of course, dad immediately asks what is wrong. The kid says, "she made me pick my nose in therapy." The little stinker!!

The kids are great. They stayed with Aunt Kayci and Nana yesterday afternoon while Jason went golfing. He's got a rough life, huh! Anyway, they commented on Landry always asking for a nack (snack). Seems like she must have a parasite or something. Braden had to put his nose in the corner when Jason went to pick him up (for yelling at Nana about already going potty). Evidently, Landry supported him by standing next to him with her nose in the corner the whole time, too!

No work today, none that I get paid for anyway. From the looks of the utility room, it looks like we'll be busy for a while!
