9 Month Stats

Tripp had a well visit to the pediatrician Thursday. He is now 21 lbs. and 29 inches. He is on target with all his gross motor skills (ahead of schedule if you ask me)! He does have two infected ears though, something I had worried about since Thanksgiving. He had had fever for a couple of days over the long weekend, drainage follwed, then a cough. I guess I should be glad that we made it this long before the antibiotics were needed for this guy.

Jason, Braden, and I went to watch my nephew play for theYellowJackets this afternoon. For those of you not from around here, that would be the Stephenville High School football team. They were playing in the regional finals in Waco. Unfortunately, they lost in a tough battle 27-24. Josh had a good game, but what a bad feeling to realize it's your last game! He is a senior, and he's had a great year. It just seems so important when you're 18, trust me, I remember. Jason does too, and we talked about that on the way home. Ever hear that saying, "The older I get, the better I was!"

The big kids are doing great! Braden made the A honor roll, and they both had good behavior all 6 weeks, so we celebrated by going out last night. Taco Bueno for dinner and Bolt at the movie theater. Landry LOVES Taco Bueno, and the movie was cute! I wonder how long we will be able to get away with Taco Bueno being a treat!!
