Demoted

Tripp has been officially demoted from any title of runt or other references to being small. We had his check-up yesterday, and he now weighs 11 lbs. 8 oz.! Yes, that's over 4 pounds in 6 weeks, not to mention the 3 inches of length he has added! The doctor said he is perfect, so that just confirmed my personal feelings about the little guy!

Everyone here is doing good. Braden is now using an alarm clock to wake up for school in the mornings. He was really proud the first morning to shut it off quickly and get right out of bed. We did not teach him about the snooze button, just the on/off switch! I'm okay if it wakes Landry up in the process, mostly because that increases the likelihood that she'll take a nap that day. You see my thinking: that would also increase the likelihood of ME getting a nap that day!

I'm half-way through with my maternity leave, and it has been a blessed 6 weeks. I'm so thankful I have 6 more!! Misti came over the other day to take pictures with her fancy Nikon, and they turned out great! Those are the pics up above.
