Getting Along

Life is good here at the Karnes house! Braden and Landry are being wonderful kids, and they are playing with each other more than ever. They have been able to play outside quite a bit too, which helps expend some of that energy that gets built up all day! They are both very attentive and gentle with Tripp.

We have enjoyed an endless amount of food since coming home! We've had family and church friends delivering food since Wednesday, and the most we've had to do it re-heat something!!
Our biggest challenge to date is getting the little man's pee to stay confined within the boundaries of the diaper! He's wet on everything within a 3 foot radius of his anatomy at any point in time! Somehow, I forgot about how that happened so much with Braden!
We have our first "outing" scheduled for this afternoon. Braden has his first tee ball practice, so Tripp and I will ride along and watch from the van. Then, we need to make a quick stop by Wal-Mart (if there is such a thing). And our final stop will be to get a birthday present for Jason's mom. We're not taking Tripp out at any of the stops because I'm paranoid about all the flu, virus, and upper respiratory bugs going around right now. He'll get to be out soon enough, but I just think it's a little early!

We're doing our best to give individual attention to each of the bigger kids, and they seem to notice. They really need that right now, especially with all the extra care/attention Tripp is getting. Better run, I hear a little squeak from the little one!
