I had another appointment about our baby boy Tripp today. Nothing new, I'm growing, he's growing... all is well! I had a baby shower at work last week, and it turned out to be really nice! I have another one this weekend that some friends from church put together! It's amazing how little those baby clothes look when I've been doing laundry for the "big kids"!
The kids are doing great. Braden is a little reading machine. He is so excited about being able to read, and he is just eager to learn more and more. I hate to brag, but they did suggest that we get him tested for the gifted and talented program!! Landry is great too! She is SO ready for her birthday that she can hardly stand herself! It seems that we've had a lot of friends/family celebrating birthdays lately, and she just thinks hers will never get here!
Jason has had some bad luck with school-kid germs lately. He got strep throat at the end of last week, then got a stomach bug Tuesday night. URGH! Talk about being under the weather! Somehow, he only missed one day of school through all of that, so I'd have to say he is tough!
We had some dog drama the other day. We've been having these Kansas-like winds this week, and one day it blew the back gate open. Jason got home to discover the gate open and Titan gone. We did a search, but he was nowhere to be found. I called the City of Tolar the next day, just in case some nice and honest person found him. Lo and behold, they did, and they were keeping him safe and sound. The lady that had him said he had stopped traffic in the middle of Highway 377, so she ran out from her business and called him to her. It turns out that I was the only one who was too worried about him, but we had a family meeting and decided to keep the dog. Poor thing, he just needs more attention. That's about all the excitement we can take in one week!
