That's how Jason and I felt yesterday. I would imagine that an astronaut feels like it is forever to wait when they find out they are going to go up to space on the next mission. When NASA does one of the ka-gillion tests they have to do, one of them comes up bad and they decide to cancel the shuttle launch. What a bummer, right? Maybe it's not a parallel comparison, but we were down in the dumps yesterday. Jason's mom was going to babysit for us while we went on our date. Well, she also had Kayli and Oakley. Usually not a problem, but both of our kids still had the diarrhea bug. URGH! No date night. We'll have to wait to go to the Line Camp. This better be one good steak!
Braden said one of those super sweet things last night. Jason and I talk about "needing to rest in our chairs" sometimes. For example, when I come home for lunch, I usually take a rest in my chair. Last night, I was in my chair and the boys were in the big chair. Braden said, "Do you think God needs to rest sometimes?" Jason said, "Oh, I'm sure he does, bud." Braden so sweetly said, "Does God have a chair in our hearts?" Oh man! What a special boy we have!
