What fun, what fun!! This is Davis and Grace Graham. Sara is a long-time friend of mine from way back. The beauty of it is that my Jason and her Jasen really like each other too!!
We got to Kansas late Friday night and basically crashed as soon as we got there! Saturday was a great day- no commitments, just hanging out. We walked the kids down to their little playground area while the guys went golfing. We didn't stay outside very long because of that Kansas wind! The kids played SO hard all day. All the bedrooms are upstairs, so there had to be at least one thousand trips up and down the stairs for those little legs! Landry fell down them once, which meant she needed help the rest of the time! Braden and Grace had an imaginary swimming pool at the bottom of the stairs- both imaginations were rolling on that one! Davis just goes with the flow. Not many complaints from the little man!
We got to go to church and small group with the Grahams on Sunday. I know it sounds like we didn't do much. Well, we didn't, and that's just the way we wanted it! It was a very relaxing weekend. I won't mention the slaughter Jason and I put on them in ESPN trivia because they might want to mention the pounding we took in Trivial Pursuit!!
We left the Grahams' house at about 10:30 yesterday morning. We stopped in Norman, OK for a late lunch at Joe's Crab Shack. They had a neat little playground for the kids to play on after they ate. Landry was zooming down the slide and Braden would jump off this platform and hang from a bar that swung around. He called it the rescue helicopter! It's good to be home, and it was seriously good rest in my own bed. Jasen G. needs to buy a new mattress for his wife!!
That's all for now. I'm off work today... Whoop!
