We haven't come up with a creative name yet, but the kids have a new fort in the backyard! New to us, anyway. My dad called several weeks ago saying that his neighbor was ready to give it away to anyone who would come and move it out of his yard. It is just perfect! We did some real Aggie engineering to get it out of their yard and onto the trailer. Then, when we put it in our yard we were like old pros at moving the thing around!
What a surprise for me to say that I haven't blogged in several days because we've been busy! Nothing major, just life. There were several nights that I thought about it, but the sleepies would take over and lead me to bed!
Jason was mad at me for the first part of the morning yesterday... well, not really mad, just startled! He said I sat up in the middle of the night and yelled something at the top of my lungs (in my sleep). He thought someone was breaking in the house or something, and it scared him out of his skin. He was scolding me in my sleep and I never knew anything about it!
All else is well. My diet went very good last week, and I met my exercise goals. That's the advantage to starting slow- you have less of a chance to fail in the first week! Notice, I did not say it was easy. I didn't realize how much sweet stuff I eat throughout the day until I was trying to cut it out! We'll just take it a step at a time.
