Birthday weekend

The princess had a wonderful birthday party! She is now sleeping in her big girl bed. She'll say, "See my big girl bed, it's cute!" The first time we had her sleep there was for her nap Saturday. We could tell by listening to the monitor that she had gotten off the bed and was playing for a while. She did go off to sleep, and when we went to wake her up for her party- she wasn't in her bed. She had climb up on top of her changing table and slept up there on her tummy, with her bottom straight up in the air! Yes, I took a picture!

I had the kids all to myself yesterday afternoon! Jason went golfing, and we hung out at the house. I got a short (but sweet) nap and caught up on laundry. The kids have been playing with all Landry's new birthday toys! I went in her room yesterday and it was completely rearranged. Landry loves to move her table and chairs around. I sat at the table for some playtime. She served me bacon, eggs, and coffee!

Braden had BIG fun at the party. His big cousin, Josh (15), wrestled and rough-housed with him. Just what a boy needs! He talked about Josh constantly after they left! Braden sat with me in big church yesterday. He was convinced that he would like it, but shortly after the music was over he said, "I'm ready to go to Camp SteppingStone with the kids."

All is well, in Tolar town. Nothing out of the ordinary scheduled for this week. Have a good one!
