Not me

After baking some chocolate chip cookies, we all had our cookies and milk for the evening. The kids had to have theirs on the tile because they were dipping the cookies in the milk. Landry snuck off (under our not-so-watchful eyes) into our bedroom. Braden came out about 5 minutes later with his hands up in the air as if surrendering to the FBI, "Landry got chocolate cookie all over your bed, it wasn't me, I didn't do it." Oh yes, white sheets plus chocolate... hello bleach!!

Tonight I had two trips up to the roof to get Braden's radio control flying saucer. The first time Braden did it, the second time his daddy did! Why was it me getting up there? I knew you wondered! Well, our ladder is a hand-me-down from Charles. It's an OLD wooden ladder that shimmies and shakes when a fly lands on it. Jason didn't trust the ladder, and he didn't trust me to be able to catch him if he fell. So, with me on it- he still didn't trust the ladder, but he figured he could save me if I fell. I made both trips safe and sound, so no worries. I did put my foot down about the toy though... the boys had to put it up for the night.

Back to the grind for everyone tomorrow. Kids to Crosstown, Jason to school, me to work. I've had two days off in the past two weeks and it feels like those entire two weeks are one big blur. Maybe we'll get back on our routine again!
