The manic Monday was following a manic Sunday. We went from church to the hospital in Fort Worth. Jason's Granny is doing much better, by the way! From there, I headed to the youth group's meeting for church (subbing for a friend with sick kids). I got home at about 8:40, almost 12 hours after I had left that morning! Jason had the kids in bed and we had an awesome time to just talk and hang out!
For Monday, I had planned on working a half day, then going to Stephenville to see my grandparents who are visiting from Montana. I got to work and saw that this was not very feasible, so I ditched that plan and only pouted about it for an hour (or so). I got off work at 3:30 and picked up the kids from school. We had to make a pit stop at the house because Landry Beth had pulled her rubber bands out of her hair. She had dog ears that looked so cute, but she looked like she had been through a tornado by afternoon!
So, we're off to Stephenville. My niece, Becca, had a basketball game that we had plenty of time to make. I even stopped by Wal-Mart to get a few things... including panties for my 4-days-without-an-accident princess! I'm amazed that she is doing so well, but I'm not counting my chickens yet! Anyway, the whole crew was at the ball game. We got to wish Papa a happy belated birthday. Landry ran around the place at least 100 times, and Braden sat by his Pappaw. (That is a common grandpa name in our family!) Off to Mimi's after the game to visit for a short while, and then back home to get the kids in bed. What a day!
Now today, I am planning on taking off a half day, but I think I can really get it done. I have my 50 minute deep tissue massage scheduled at the Spa, so I am really looking forward to that! I'll be feeling like a limp noodle by 3:30... I can't wait!!
