I know, it's been several days since the last post. I did good for so long about putting a few comments daily, but then I started this night blogging. Really though, I tried to log on twice in the past two days to blog, and the site was down!
I've been reminded to beware of the silent child. Braden snuck off into Landry's room with some markers, washable ones thank goodness. He came in the kitchen with a big smile on his face and a rainbow of colors all over his body. Absolutely no marker on his clothes or on the carpet, so it wasn't too bad!
Jason has the flu, so we are all trying to have distant compassion for him. The kids understand that they are not supposed to get in daddy's face, so maybe the rest of us will be spared from the illness.
We've got a new exercise machine in the house. I'm trying to talk myself into actually using it instead of just talking about it. We'll see, I've always done a good job of preaching about the importance of diet and exercise. It just seems a lot more fun when a ball and competition are included with that exercise.
Both kids are in bed now. They were whiny, cranky, and tired today. They think we have to go to someone's house or go out to eat every day. Going straight home is just not much fun to them. However, today we got the SpiderMan bike and wagon out as soon as we got home. We walked/rode around the big town of Tolar for about 30 minutes. This was followed by a trip into Granbury to grab a bite to eat and pick up Jason's prescriptions (I won't even go into the fiasco of waiting in the Walgreen's drive-thru). Sleep tight little monkeys!
