Of course, of course, our baby girl scored above average on her academic and social evaluation at school. She knows her shapes, colors, and sings the ABC's. What doesn't she sing? That was another comment on her paper, that she LOVES to sing! Tell me about it. We need to video some of her singing so we can capture the memory because it is just beautiful!
Braden didn't have an evaluation yet for those who are wondering. I'm sure he is above average, too. Isn't that what all parents think? He has been given the green thumb award. He and his classmates planted bean plants this week, and his is the only one growing. Must get that from Papa!
Here's some things that are precious to me during this phase: Landry has her pink puppy and a baby doll on each side of her when she lays down at night. She says, "Sing to me, get on the floor." So, I get on my knees and reach a hand through the crib rail, then sing some of her favorites. She sucks her thumb and looks at me like she's really proud to have me as a mom! Braden runs to me first thing in the morning hollering, "Momma!" He literally jumps into my arms and hugs me really, really tight. His breath is terrible- do 3 year olds have halitosis- but it is a great feeling to have his arms and legs wrapped around me like a little monkey. They are absolutely perfect!! Dry it up now.
