Here's how Friday went: Landry woke up even fussier than the night before. I got her dressed and was putting her shoes on when she said, "Dr. Watts". OK- the child really doesn't feel good, and she knows it! I had a meeting that I really needed to go to, so I called Jason to see if he could come home. The kids were at Crosstown for about an hour before Jason made it to pick them up. Landry threw up on him when he got her. Braden later told someone, "I don't want my sister to be sick anymore, and I don't want her to throw up on my daddy." Landry has ear infections in both ears plus a stomach virus. Needless to say, we have a lot of questions for the ENT next week.
I had a great long lunch with my friend Michelle, but I had to go back to finish some work. I've fallen a good bit behind on my paperwork, which is a bad feeling. The kids were glad to have me home, and I was glad to get home for sure. Jason and Braden had a guys night out. They went out to eat at Montana's together.
We got a call from Nana that Pa-paw had run over Stormy. That's the dog we got right after we got married. She was somewhat adopted by Patti and Charles when we moved here and didn't have a fence. It killed her, so everyone feels bad. I think Charles feels the worst of anyone.
Landry fell asleep sitting with me in my recliner. I hate that she is sick, but it was great to sit with her and watch her fall asleep. She is a beautiful little girl, and my prayer is that she starts feeling better.
