No alarm

I've been ignoring the alarm for the past week! Since Jason is at home, I don't have to get the kids ready in the morning. It is very hard for me to get up at my usual time when I know that they are all going to sleep in. So what do I do? Forget the alarm and sleep as long as possible!!

Work is busy, and that's a good thing. The telltale sign (according to my friend Gwen) about whether or not I am happy with my job is weight gain. Well, I'm sure I've put on a few pounds, but I'll have to blame all the holiday candy for that one! I'm planning on getting back on some semblance of a "program" after the first of the year. I'm not making any promises to work out or count calories, but I'll definitely be a little more watchful of my intake!!

The kids are great! They are so happy with all their new toys, and they are playing quite nicely together. Braden likes to cook with Landry, and she likes to fight light sabers with him. Landry is more and more interested in using the potty, so I've been putting pull-ups on her at times. She is just so funny! Her expressive little eyes tell such a story! Braden has grown at least an inch in the past five days. He got on a scale the other day and he weighs 45 pounds. How will I feed this child ten years from now? He's going to be a monster!

Jason's sister goes in to have a C-section tomorrow at noon. They don't know the sex of the baby yet, and they are not sharing the names either. It will definitely be a big surprise. Our plan is to be there (Ft. Worth) when the baby is born, then take the kids up to the Rainforest Cafe at Grapevine Mills. They happen to have a Lucky outlet at that mall... convenient, huh?! I hope to get outfitted in some super cool jeans!
