I thought it was going to be a terrible day. I got to work with a plan in my head of how I was going to get all of my end of month stuff done by ten, then I new I had some new evals to see. Well, the first two times I logged on the computer it froze up, so I restarted it. Then I got that lovely "page has expired" screen when I was trying to bring up my data. Once I got it on the screen, the printer was not recognized. After troubleshooting through that process, I was ready to roll. I got 2 out of my 4 big lists of things printed out when I got a fax from corporate that said: we're having system issues today, so you only have to turn in payroll today- wait on the billing until the system gets resolved. As it was going, I thought it might be a bad day, but it actually worked out just fine.
And there's always the kids to brighten it up. I went and got them at 3:30 to take Landry to the doctor. She does have an ear infection. Left ear. Dr. Watts wrote her a prescription for an antibiotic, and also referred us to another ENT. Braden was the best last night. He acted like he could have been 7 years old. We were sitting at the supper table and he says, "Today at Crosstown, I did my shirt like this (he demonstrated the Cornholio pose- neckline of shirt pulled up over the back of his head with arms still in the armholes) and everyone laughed at me. It was funny." Jason and I just smiled a big ole proud parent smile. I asked him if he liked making people laugh- he said yes! Wonder where he gets that. Jason and Braden watched part of Superman II on A&E. Guess who Braden prayed for... Spiderman, Superman, and Batman!
I am adding carpal tunnel to my list of ailments. I thought it was just sympathy pains for Peggy, but it hurt more today. I guess I wrote way more than I was used to writing last week! I'm using ice, and I tried to teach Jason to do a release- he did pretty good last night. I'll also correct my grip on my pen, and minimize my writing (as possible) for a few days! It's good to have a plan, right?
