Wellness formula

I stepped out of my box yesterday. I had been fighting a sore throat starting last week, but I thought it went away by the weekend. Well, it was back and back worse yesterday morning when I woke up. I am so stubborn about going to the doctor, so I tried an alternative. I went into the health food store in Granbury and asked if they had anything that would help. They gave me this "Wellness Formula" which is a horse-sized tablet that smells terrible. I take 3 of them every 3 hours for a couple of days. I actually feel much better this morning. My sore throat is still there, but it is much improved from yesterday. We'll have to wait it out and see if it really solves the problem, or if I still have to go to the doctor.

The kids got a shorter day at Crosstown yesterday since I worked in Granbury. I did my work, ran some errands, then picked them up by 2:40. Landry got the Green Frog of the Day award! Her class is called the green frogs and Braden's is the yellow lions. Landry did a lot of painting, as evidenced by her white-shirt-turned-green and by her beautiful artwork. Braden didn't paint, but he got to draw and color again. He was singing different songs in the living room last night when he thought we weren't listening. It was precious!

I have a three-day stretch of going to Ft. Worth each day, then a great weekend. Sara called last night and invited us to the Aggie game on Saturday (in College Station). Her dad is nice enough to share his extra tickets, so we couldn't decline!! Great friends and great football-- WHOOP!
