Predictable

My body is so predictable. When I was 21, I had a bad case of mono. This made my immune system much weaker than it used to be. Last week, we stayed up late every night working on the fence. Plus, I was trying to figure out what to put in my speech. And then, I had the bigger stress of figuring out which daycare/preschool to put the kids in. I could see it coming from a mile away- so I should have just been pumping myself full of vitamin C. But, there's that bull-headed side of me that says, no I'll be alright. Now, I've got a sore throat- just on the left side of my throat for now. I woke up in the night looking for some kind of throat spray or lozenge. I only found cough suppressant spray, but I took it anyway. It didn't do anything but taste bad!

Yesterday was jammed packed. We had church in the morning, followed by an abbreviated nap by the kids. Then we had not one, but two birthday parties to go to. Braden's cousin, Kayli, turned 3. And Jeremy and Misti's kids turned 3 and 1. The parties were great, and each kid got enough to make it look like Christmas! Our favorite was Kayli's new drum set- that ought to make Kayci and Bryon just tickled pink!! Braden did good to not mess with their stuff. Although he did try to help Jenna open one gift- she cried. Jason made him sit back for a while because he said nobody should cry on their birthday!

We got home late, so the kids are sleeping in! Jason is still sleeping too. This is his last day off until Thanksgiving, so he was wanting to rest today! Hopefully we can all do some resting today!

When fake blogs attack
"Apologies for the long delay in posting. The past few weeks have been chaos. I was out with WHO teams from dawn to dusk as they tried in vain to stamp out the outbreak with drugs.
