Silent company

We had 6 teenage boys at the house last night, and I never heard one peep out of them! Hard to believe, huh! A youth group from Dallas came down to do some mission work for StoneWater, and we provided a place to sleep for some of them. They were expected to get there after 10:30 p.m. and leave first thing this morning. The only thing different to me this morning was that I heard a lot of snoring in the living room, and the house was darker than normal. We usually leave a light on in the hall for Braden, but he gave up his bed and slept with us last night.

Jason did some major housecleaning yesterday/last night. I tried to be a good helper, but I have to admit that he did most of the work. I did clean the toilets which is quite chore with two males in the house, and one that has been on the orange-pee bladder infection pills! Jason is the vacuum king. We've got one of those million-dollar Kirby's, and that is one thing that I feel is worth its price. Plus it's got the transmission in it, so the kids can push it too. Landry already loves to run the vacuum.

We're looking forward to a restful weekend. I only have a half-day of work today, then we're going to be vegetables the rest of the day.... I hope.
